Site Objective: Individual Design perspective / Occupational Discovery

Every web designer lives in a constant state of needing to update skills, while rethinking known methods and being open to newer better technologies. It's essential to research the field of web design from the following perspectives: emerging technologies, communications and collaborations, ethics and professional practices, and tactics for employing creativity. And of course lean code that works is expected!

Site Author and Instructor

Melanie Stewart has a BFA in Fine Art and earned a Regent's scholarship at the University of California Santa Cruz for her MFA in Digital Arts and New Media. She is an interdisciplinary fusion artist exploring issues of convergence between technology and humanity in the post-human era. Particularly qualified she is a web pioneer - having designed her first web site in the early nineties.
